The current state of my potholders...How sad is this?
I have a bad habit of leaving them too close to the eye.
I may have actually started a small fire once...
Well I am happy to report, the old ones have been tossed, replaced by the following....
I used Lily Sugar and Cream so they are nice and thick.
A size 3.5 hook
pattern available at Made in K-Town Spring Mandala
Once I had the potholders sorted out it to time to get back to Valentine's Day decorations:
Sunburst heart tutorial on Bunny Mummy
Yarn wreath for my front door.
Another hexagon for a candle
I am currently reading "The Letters of Vincent VanGogh" It covers his last 25 years..everything from his religious beliefs, his mental states, attempts and failures at romantic relationships, a very special relationship with his brother and of course his inspiration for his art.
I absolutely love these! Those potholders look cooked it gives you a good excuse to crochet new ones. Love the Valentine's decorations very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWhat an improvement! I've just made some new dishcloths with the Sugar n' Cream, the old ones looked rather similar to your potholders...and your Valentine decorations are so lovely!!! Chrissie x
