On my hook...

Linking up with ChrissieGinnyTami and crochetaddictuk

The current state of my potholders...How sad is this?
I have a bad habit of leaving them too close to the eye.
I may have actually started a small fire once...
Well I am happy to report, the old ones have been tossed, replaced by the following....
I used Lily Sugar and Cream so they are nice and thick.

A size 3.5 hook

pattern available at Made in K-Town Spring Mandala

Once I had the potholders sorted out it to time to get back to Valentine's Day decorations:

Sunburst heart tutorial on Bunny Mummy

Yarn wreath for my front door.
 Another  hexagon for a candle

I am currently reading "The Letters of Vincent VanGogh"  It covers his last 25 years..everything from his religious beliefs, his mental states, attempts and failures at romantic relationships, a very special relationship with his brother and of course his inspiration for his art.

a few of my favorte things

A day off and spending it with three of the people I love the most.
A day at the Noccalulla Falls is always on Coco and Bray's best day ever list..
We got up there only to discover that since it was a federal holiday, the park was closed.
Luckily, the falls are always open and there is a playground right next to it.
We spent a happy few hours talking while they played,
chased birds and ducks, waded in the water.

The falls...

poor birds...he would.not.stop!

He hears his sissey...

and there he goes...I love how much they love each other (most of the time)

I don't think I will ever get tired of blue skies...I just love them.

or bare tree branches...

or gray skies which lets you see the detail of the moon...

A typical Friday night...we know how to do them up right...

making our bird treats was a sticky, gooey job.

Even Bray was able to help.  I looked over at him and he was eating the peanut butter,
complete with a few bird seeds.  Oh well, didn't seem to bother him

Ready for the birds to come...
